Shopping trip

Addie needed new shirts for the fall since she only had like 3 or 4 long sleeve shirts in the right size.  So, Daddy went floating, and Mommy went shopping!
People always act so surprised that I take all 3 kids with me whenever I go shopping. I get alot of "good luck" and "you are brave" comments.  I never really know how to respond when people say these things.  I think taking care of the errands and shopping is part of the "stay at home mom" job description.  It would be a little rude if I stayed home all day while Zach worked his butt off and then when he got home made him either go by himself or take us all shopping.  The man works hard so I CAN be a stay at home mom, he should get to relax when he gets home.  I mean, don't get me wrong, there are times when he will go with us but that's usually on days when he is off super early and he wants to.  I never make him, I think that would be mean and a little selfish! Besides, it's not like it is that difficult. My girls can be gigantic pains in the butt at home but are pretty darn well behaved out in public.  Sure, we have the occasional melt down when our trips overlap with nap time but really, who can blame them? That's really just poor planning on my part! And even then, it's completely manageable. After all, I'm their mother and it's my job to teach them how to behave in public. If I never take them any where, how are they expected to learn?
So we went shopping today, me and three kids 3 years old and under.  I wore Jack in the moby wrap, Mia rode in the shopping cart (we went to target since Jack needed more diapers too) and Addie walked like a big girl.  This was the first time I let Addie have completely 100% say in what she wanted to wear.  It was a lot of fun and pretty cute to watch her make her own decisions. I can't believe how grown up she is getting...
