It's official! I have started my postpartum workout routine. I like to wait until after my 6 week check up to start exercising (even though I feel perfectly fine immediately after I give birth) so I can see how much weight I lost just by breastfeeding. I was 145lbs when I delivered Jack and at my 6 week check up I was down to 125lbs which is a perfectly "normal" weight for my height (5'3") but my goal is to get back down to 115lbs because that is the weight I feel the most comfortable at.
Today's work out consisted of a 20 minute Latin dance video and abs. The dance video was a way better work out than I would have guessed which is why I chose to try it for my first time. It actually was a great work out so I will definitely do it more often. It has different 10 minute segments that target whatever area you want to work on so I really like it.
I'm going to try to post every time I work out as a way to make sure I keep it up!
Now back to cleaning the house and playing with the kiddos!
