Jackster update

I  was told that squirting a little breastmilk in Jack's eye would help clear up the 'gunkiness'.  Weird, right? Well, I kinda thought so as well but if I could avoid unnecessary medications, what the heck! So I tried it last night.  Every time I changed his diaper I would first wipe his eye with a cotton ball and sterile water, then put a few drops of breastmilk in his eye, change his diaper and then while we were cuddling I would massage the tear duct, like I was told to, in order to help it open up. This morning he woke up with absolutely no 'gunkiness'! His eye is still really watery from the narrow tear duct since, obviously, breastmilk isn't THAT talented that it can magically open tear ducts, but at least it isn't gunky any more! Whoo hoo! Success!
