My little man has some gunky eyes going on. The girls both had narrow tear ducts and it caused their tears to overflow and get gunky when they were babies too. But theirs happened just a few weeks after they were born so I was hoping Jack didn't inherit that since he is nearly 2 months old already (*gasp* is that right? Holy smokes). But yesterday morning he woke up with the familiar gunkiness and my heart was broken. I am going to give it a few days since my Baby's First Year book says that for some babies, all the treatment that is needed is just wiping the infected eye clean with some sterile water. If it persists for longer than a few days, I will need to take him to the doctor. Day 2 of his gunky-eyes is looking promising though. It's not nearly as bad as it was yesterday so I am hopeful that I won't have to take him to the doctor after all.
By the way, my little guy is pretty much the cutest boy in the WORLD! Yesterday he was twirling his little fingers around what little hair he has in the back. It was very sweet watching him discover his hair! A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!
