I never did get around to posting that Addie now knows our first and last names. My mom told me I should teach her our first names so if she ever gets lost, we will be able to find her quickly because she could tell whoever found her our names. Naturally, I don't want to even think about her getting lost! Besides, she never ventures off away from us anyway, but just in case, I started teaching her. She of course has known how to say her name forever! I think she learned that shortly after Mia was born. But now she knows her last name and it's really cute to hear her say "Addie Cope!"
She was calling me "Mama Cope", Daddy "Daddy Cope" and Mia "Baby Cope" but now she adds in our first names so I am "Mama Erica Cope" and Mia is "Baby Mimi Cope". She doesn't say Zach really well yet. And usually whenever I ask her what Daddy's first name is she replies "Daddy is a boy, Mama and Addie are girls". Silly girl! We have been talking about that alot lately too. She can definitely tell the difference between boys and girls now.
Mia has recently been developing quite the little attitude! When you ask her to do something and she doesn't want to she points her little pointer finger at you and says "No". Nice....
But overall she is still her sweet self! She added mouse, Addie, Mimi (Mia), bar (cereal bar), belly and bubbles to her vocab and probably more that I can't think of on top of my head. She talks alot. She follows directions exceptionally well too. Her 15 mo check up is on the 16th and I am anxious to see how much she has grown!
