Addie has been talking so much more lately. I can’t even count how many new words she says a day now. But my most favorite thing about my little chatterbox is that she has such good manners!
She has been saying “Please” since Mia was born but just recently has started saying “Thank you”. Yesterday, after all of the other kids had left for the day the girls and I decided we would go for a walk around the block while waiting for Daddy to get home.
We walked past the “Chiefs” house (that’s what we call it….I seriously think the KC Chiefs biggest fan lives there…I’ll have to take a picture of it some time because words would not do this house justice) and the people who live there were outside playing with their new puppy. Addie LOVES animals and she isn’t afraid of anything so naturally she got excited when she saw the puppy. She stopped and gasped with excitement and then pointed to the puppy saying “woof woof”. The very nice people told me that Addie could play with the puppy for a little bit if she wanted to (and obviously she did). After a few minutes I asked Addie if she was ready to go back to the house and start getting dinner ready. She said “okay” to me and then turned to the nice people who let her play with the puppy and said “Thank you! Bye” waved and reached out for my hand so we could walk home.
How stinkin adorable is she??? : ) Our bedtime book last week was a book on manners so I think it is pretty sweet that Addie has such good ones!
