I know, I know.....

I am such a slacker!
I have absolutely no excuse whatsoever for the lack of picture updates.....all I can say is SOON! I promise!
We got back from Manhattan on Saturday and it SNOWED on sunday so I haven't had a chance to get the girls dressed up in their pretty new dresses from their great-grandma Shirley yet but we are supposed to be getting a warm front this week (I think I heard that anyway, could just be wishful thinking) so perhaps this weekend I will get some pictures. The dresses sure are precious!
Mia turned 6 months on friday and earlier last week she started scooting around way more. She can scoot her way around pretty good for just turning 6 months old. I would imagine she starts crawling soon. She still isn't very good at it but there is some improvement! She practices alot! : )
Mia also got her ears pierced on friday and like I expected, hardly cried at all. She is one tough cookie! She looks like such a little lady now.
Addie is talking quite a bit now! Though I am not always liking what she is saying. Some of her favorite sentences are "Go away" and "Stop that". Not very nice......but she says other nice words like "please" and "thanks" and I have heard her say "love you" twice now so thats something! Every day she learns at least one new word. She constantly points to objects and asks "What's this?" and then repeats back the word you told her.
Addie finally has enough hair for me to put it in a little half pony tail (pictures to come!) and she actually KEEPS it in for the most part! I fixed her hair at 8am this morning and here it is 9am and she hasn't touched it yet.....thats a very good sign! : )
Zach got me a mother's ring for valentine's day. So now I have one with each of the girls birthstones on it. They are stacker rings so I can wear them on the same finger and I absolutely love them!
I promise to upload more pictures soon. Possibly tonight but I won't promise anything just in case! :)
