Addie turned 20 months old on the 29th. It is so hard for me to believe that in just 4 short months my baby will be 2 years old!

She learns new words every day and can now point to (as well as say the word) her eyes, ears, nose, mouth, teeth, tongue, head, belly, feet, toes, hands, and fingers!

I have decided to do an Elmo (or "Melmo" as she calls him) theme for her birthday party since she loves him so much. I have already started planning and everything!

The cheerleader outfit she is wearing in these pictures was mine when I was a kid!

I hope she gets the hint when she gets older and decides to cheer like her mommy! I would settle for dance though...; )

Mia is 5 1/2 months now and already showing an interest in crawling. She pulls her knees up underneath and pushes out. It is extremely goofy looking but every so often she gets going and actually moves! She would much rather stand which makes me wonder how long it will take her to figure out how to walk....

We are getting her ears pierced in a few weeks when she turns 6 months (like we did with Addie). I am excited! It makes me sad that it will make her cry at first but I have to remind myself that she won't remember it after a few minutes.

I finally remembered to pick up some batteries this weekend so I will take lots of pictures this week-promise!
