Addie and Mia are growing up too fast for me! It is making me sad but it is exciting at the same time because they are so much fun!
We don't see my family a whole lot, actually we don't see much of Zach's family either so I wasn't surprised that Addie hadn't started saying their names yet. She wasn't familiar with them!
BUT yesterday we were looking at pictures online and she pointed to my mom and said "Nana!" Nana? We have always referred to my mom as Gramie so we aren't sure where Nana came from but that is what Addie has decided to call her!
She has said "Kar-ee" for my sister Karlie for quite a while now but yesterday when I pointed to a picture of my brother Brad, I told her his name was "Uncle Brad" and she responded "Uncle Bad". Close enough! She calls Mia "Mimi" (a nickname I sincerly hope doesn't stick...) and can say "Faun" perfectly for her Aunt Faun and calls her Uncle Jr "June". It was fun listening to her name off everybody!
Mia is starting to stand on her own. She pulls up on just about anything and then lets go, standing there for quite a while before falling to her bottom. She said "ball" for the first time last night. It was more "ba" sound than anything but she said it whenever I showed her the ball so that counts right?
