We were at Apple Butter Making Days and since Zach's chevelle was in the car show we had to get there pretty early so he could get it all ready. Well, the girls and I got bored after about 15 minutes of watching Zach clean his car so we decided to walk around.
First, you have to have a little background information. I walk weird. I do not pick up my feet and walk like a normal person does...I slide them as I walk. I don't know why I do this, but I've done it for as long as I can remember because my mom used to get onto me for it when I was a kid. I have a theory though, I think I am so clumsy that I think my subconscious thinks it is safer to keep both my feet on the ground at all times. The thing is, I still trip anyway so obviously it doesn't help that much but it's hard for us old people to change our habits. Anyway, so I slide my feet and every so often, depending on what shoes I am wearing, I "scuff" (is that the right word?) the ground and my shoes make noise. While we were walking around I tripped over a rock, Addie looks up at me and in her sweetest, clear as day, loud enough for everyone within a 5 mile radius can hear her voice asks me "Mama, did you poop?"
I swear, it was just my shoes!!!!

Oh my! That made me laugh, but that must have been embarrassing if anyone heard Addie ask you that! Good thing you wrote this story down so you don't forget it later.
I know! It was so embarrassing but I know it will REALLY embarrass her when she is older so I can't wait!!! : )
