Halloween Pumpkins

When we got home from Spooktacular in Manhattan this weekend, Mommy was in a Halloween mood! So we decorated pumpkins! First we made paper pumpkins. Mia's is on top and Addie's is on the bottom. I would put glue on the eyes, noses and mouths and hand them each one at a time and tell them which body part it was and they stuck it on the pumpkin where they thought that part went. Both did their pumpkin faces sideways but they did a pretty good job remembering which part goes where!

Then we "carved" pumpkins! I did the actual carving but Addie and Mia pretended to carve theirs with black marker.
This is the 2nd pumpkin that I did and the one I sliced my finger one! It REALLY hurts!

This is Addie's pumpkin! He has "Tons of eyes"! : )

This is the first pumpkin I carved...notice he only has one tooth...he was supposed to have 3...anyway....Mia's pumpkin is sitting next to him!

So, I'm obviously not as great at this whole pumpkin carving thing as Zach is but I think I did an ok job! They are nothing fancy but they are good enough for me and the girls! : )
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!! Only a few more days! YAY!

Me too!!! Zach did a really cool pumpkin last year! It was a witch flying on a broomstick. Mine are so boring but the girls think I am a fantastic artist! LOL

Love the craft idea with the girls. I plan to copy :). I can't believe Stellan is dealing with this on the day before his birthday. It is just SO sad. I wish I could take the pain away from these sick blog babies out there.

I know exactly what you mean Emily! It breaks my heart. I'm so unbelievably thankful for my healthy daughters.
