Chicken Pox.....

SERIOUSLY?!?!
We THINK so....but as their doctor wants the girls NO WHERE NEAR the office just in case, we aren't 100% for sure.
Our friends, the Green's, have two little boys around the girls' ages---Layton is 4 months older than Addie and Lincoln is 2 weeks younger than Mia---and they both have officially been diagnosed with the chicken pox because their mom, Sonja, took them to Urgent Care because she had no idea what was going on. Sonja graciously stopped by our house yesterday on her way home from work to look the girls' spots over to see if they looked similar to what the boys had. Since it looks nothing like what I remember chicken pox to look like but of course, Addie has had the vaccine so apparently that usually makes for a milder case of the chicken pox if they get it at all. The verdict: Well, according to Sonja, yep, looks like chicken pox--FANTASTIC!
Not that I am seriously worried about it or anything. I now know that it is better to get it young (they aren't scratching really since the spots are mostly just on their backs, so hopefully it will stay mild and not spread) but I feel just awful because I totally exposed not only the two little boys I watch but my best friend's 6 month old daughter Audrey as well! Poor baby!
So keep your fingers crossed that their chicken pox stays mild and they feel better soon!
