My baby girl will be ONE YEAR OLD!!!
She has been walking since 9 months, plays patty-cake, uses her spoon, and TALKS alot! Well, alot more than Addie did at this age...she says:
Mama
Dada
Nana
Peek-a-boo
Hi
Bye
Yeah
"moo" for a cow
"woof-woof" for dog"
poo-poo" when she has a dirty diaper
"vroom-vroom" for car
sometimes I swear she says "thank you"
ball
Elmo
baby
all done
And I think some more that I can't think of right now. Let me tell you! It's so strange to listen to this little person speak! She doesn't even look big enough to walk let alone talk.
She continues to be such a mama's girl. She refuses to sleep anywhere but her crib and pitches a fit when she has to sleep in the pack-n-play when we visit my mom. She loves drinking from a straw and eating "big kid" things like apple slices. She climbs on EVERYTHING. Literally EVERYTHING. She has even figured out if she pushes a chair up to the couch she can get on by herself. Whenever she gets a snack or drink she takes it into my room and sits on the blue and white striped chair to eat or drink it. She loves jumping and dancing.
She likes eating chalk (gross), doesn't like ice cream all that much but loves zucchini and corn. She loves to give hugs and kisses and if you sit on the floor she runs over to you, throws her arms around your neck then plops herself down in your lap (well, she does this to me anyway!). She waves and gives high-fives and giggles when you tickle her under her arms. She loves drinking from big girl cups (as in no lids) and generally doesn't make a mess but I still don't let her do this very often.
She is a complete doll and I love her so much!
I can't wait until her birthday! She is going to have so much fun!
