This is my new favorite picture of my Addie-Cakes....I think it captures her whole personality, sweet, fun but a little bit of a stinker deep down. But maybe that is just because I know her so well!
I think it is so interesting how in tune I am with her. She doesn't talk a whole lot still, she says enough to be keeping up according to her milestone charts but she really isn't much of a talker. She understands what I say to her though and somehow I understand what each look, babble and cry she gives me means. What a special bond to have with another person!
If only my husband was as in tune with me as I am with Addie! LOL
Sorry for the lack of pictures everybody, I am surprised Gramie hasn't called and yelled at me over it yet...oh wait, I DID get a guilt trip from her earlier this week...: )
I have been neglecting my blog, facebook, and my housework all week. The cause of my distraction?
What else? A book. Or to be precise, 4 amazing books. So amazing that I have been unable to put them down. I literally have to force myself to go to bed at night. Its just a bit pathetic!
But what can I say? I have been charmed by the TWILIGHT series. I honestly never would have thought another book series could compare to Harry Potter in my heart but I am afraid Mr. Potter has met his match....for Edward Cullen is just a TAD more irresistible...just a tad. : )
But as I am nearly finished with the last book, I promise to have so many pictures of the girls up next week that you might just get sick of seeing their beautiful faces!

Hey, here's something interesting I read a while back. I think it was on babycenter.com. The article said that sometimes if a parent is very attentive to their child, it can slow down their speech! Sounds crazy, but they explained that if a parent can understand what a child is always "asking" for without the child having to speak for it, then the child won't feel the need as much to speak to ask for things. It said not to worry, there is nothing wrong with being a super attentive parent. I totally understand because sometimes just a certain look from Kylie tells me what she needs or wants. So it means that they might start speaking a little later, but they are still absorbing a lot, it's just they don't feel a strong need to say things because you know them so well! I would take it as a compliment that means you know your child so well!
