Seriously! I can't sleep it's so bad! I never had indigestion with Addie and only had it a few times towards the very end of my pregnancy with Mia. It really sucks! Any miracle cures out there? Tums make me want to vomit and as I am officially (knock on wood) done with morning sickness (finally) I'd rather avoid throwing up for the next, well, let's say 100 years or so? I think I have had quite enough vomiting in the last 3 months...
I really am trying hard not to complain though, I promise! It's just I am surprised at how rough this pregnancy has been on my body so far. My pregnancies with the girls were easy-breezy. I realize I have been pregnant 3 (well, technically 5) times in the last 3 years and that is bound to take it's toll on a body, but seriously! It freaks me out a bit how hard it is so far. I hope that doesn't indicate a much more difficult labor/delivery is in store for me. My labors with the girls were quick and easy....I sincerely hope there is no correlation between easy pregnancies-easy labors and hard pregnacies-hard labors......how crummy would that be?!?!

My 2nd pregnancy was harder than my 1st, but the delivery was easier, so I don't think there's a correlation. Hopefully. :)
hi, you don't know me, I am Amber Long's sister but I read about your indigestion. I had it with both my kids and it was AWFUL with Harper (I did throw up). Talk to your doc, I eventually had to take a prescription heartburn medicine but it worked GREAT!! Totally safe for baby too. I know it's such a horrible feeling, hope you feel betteer soon and congrats on the baby.
I LIVED on liquid Mylanta. It seemed to work better than tums or any other over the counter indigestion med. I hope you find something that works for you. That feeling is terrible.
Thanks! My cousin Caryn recommended Smoothie Tums after I told her that regular Tums made me sick and these seem to be working well so far! But I will definitely keep the other recommendations in mind just in case later on Tums doesn't cut it anymore! : )
