Family Day

Last week was the first of Zach's "2 weeks a year" for the Army National Guard. He got to come home this weekend after "Family Day" at a park in Neosho. It would have been much better if we could come and go as we please but that's just not how the military works so even though it was supposed to be fun, it ended up just being hot with 2 cranky babies by the end of the day! We HAD to stay from noon to 4:30. Well, the girls and I could have left, but since Zach had to stay, we toughed it out. The girls did REALLY well for the most part though. They lasted longer than I would have guessed. But around 4ish, I could tell that they were both getting tired. Here are some pictures of them when everyone was still happy!

Well, Mia doesn't look too happy here but that's just because she has JUST woken up from her morning nap and I think she was a bit confused as to why she wasn't in her bed! LOL

Addie calls slides "weees" (I'm assuming because she says "wee" when she goes down them) so she was super excited to see the "Weees" at the park!

Zach left early this morning for his last week and will be home sunday. I don't sleep very well when he isn't home so these past couple of weeks have been pretty zombie like for me!
